Cannes

Posted on in The Blue Coast, Tourist Routes

Cannes is an exceptional seaside resort on the Côte d’Azur (80 minutes distance from the campsite), worldwide known for its film festival and its promenade the Croisette.
Cannes is a bright, clean and elegant place with twelve miles of beaches, a beautiful seafront and old town. The promenade, or Boulevard de la Croisette is stylish and spacious. At the old port you can see some of the most amazing yachts in the world.

In front of the city you can visit the ‘Iles de Lerins’, two small islands and some small islands really worth a visit. The two biggest islands are Santa Margherita and Only de Sant Norato reachable by boat from the port of Cannes.
